ARS vs BRI, EPL 2021/22: MPL Preview, Predictions & Fantasy Team

Arsenal are scheduled to host Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners were dealt a severe blow in their pursuit of the top four as their London rivals Crystal Palace blanked them 3-0 in the last match. Mikel Arteta’s men were completely outplayed by Patrick Vieira’s side and they will be looking to amend their mistakes against the Seagulls.

A Lacklustre display was probably needed as it could be the antidote for their top four battle. They were dominated in the midfield, lacked hunger in the wide spaces and overall couldn’t cope with Palace’s technical ability.

The North Londoners are currently in fifth place one place adrift of their North London neighbour Tottenham Hotspur who has played a game more.

They are still very much in the top four race but with a number of tough fixtures ahead of them the path won’t be smooth as it seems. They will face the likes of  Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs in their remaining fixtures and for any further derailment they will only have themselves to blame.

Brighton have shown some promises this season but they have failed to back it up with proper performances on the pitch. Graham Potter has turned the team into a well oiled unit but goals have dried for them and it could pose a real threat for them.

They haven’t scored in their last three top flight matches and had 31 shots in the last match against Norwich City but couldn’t have the final laugh.

However, they ended their six match losing streak against the Relegation threatened side and will have to up the ante if they are to scrap something positive in this match.

With no relegation war looming on the horizon they should be prepared for the Gunners test. Potter’s men played a goalless draw with the side and would try to better their result this time.
