Ashley Nurse then blasted an unbeaten 103 off 43 balls to power them to a strong total of 179/7. Pravin Tambe snared 3 for 28 while Liam Plunkett bagged two scalps but Kevin O’Brien powered Giants to a victory with 61-ball 106.

Bhilwara Kings had a great start to their match as Fidel Edwards and Irfan reduced Manipal Tigers to 4 for 15 in four overs. Edwards snared 4 for 30 as they restricted the opponents to 153/7. Chasing the target, they lost both the openers inside the first two overs.

Tanmay Srivastava scored a run-a-ball 28 while Yusuf Pathan smashed 44 off 28 to take the team closer to the target. Needing 12 runs off the last over, Tino Best then belted a six and a couple of fours to seal the victory.
