Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians women will be up against each other in the seventh match of the Women’s Premier League 2023. The only two unbeaten teams in the WPL so far will meet at Dr DY Patil Stadium on Thursday, March 9.

Mumbai Indians obliterated Gujarat Giants by 143 runs to kick off the tournament. They then battered RCB women by nine wickets in another dominant display. Hayley Matthews was the star of the show with both bat and ball.
Mathews bagged 3 for 28 while Saika Ishaque continued to impress with 2 for 26. Amelia Kerr also picked two wickets as they bowled out RCB to 155. What followed was a carnage from MI batters. Matthews smashed 77 not-out in just 38 balls while Nat Sciver-Brunt struck 55* off 29, chasing down the target in 14.2 overs.
