Denmark have been quite impressive in the Nations League as they have continued their strong showing following their Euro 2020 display. They defied the odds by reaching the semifinals where they lost to England in the extra time.
Denmark have won their previous two matches including a worthy performance against France. They are topping the group and are in red hot form as they have been in great form in their last few matches winning eight out of the nine matches they have played in various competitions.
Pierre-Emile Hojberg and Jens Stryger Larsen were on the score sheet as Denmark had a narrow 2-1 win over Austria in the last match. They have been absolutely dominant at home and their resistance will be put to test by the visiting Croats.
Croatia’s last major achievement was to secure a place in the 2018 World Cup final where they were convincingly beaten by France. They were thrashed 3-0 by Ralf Rangnick’s Austria in the first group league match while a Andrej Kramaric goal was enough to play a 1-1 draw with France in the last match.
Croatia’s form in the Nation League hasn’t been good and they need to make some upturn in their game plan. They have had five consecutive losses away from home and Zlatko Dalic needs to shake up things to turn their fortunes in this tournament.
