About
Manchester City are one of the powerhouses of the English Premier League. They were not influential in the English league and had barely managed to challenge for the Premier League trophy since its inception.
But the 2008 takeover by Sheikh Mansour has changed the dynamics of the football club and they have become one of the most sought after destinations for the footballers. Since the introduction of the new ownership City have invested heavily towards strengthening their footballing infrastructure alongside setting up an exciting football project to compete on various fronts on the pitch.
Since the takeover, City have disrupted world football with their brilliant brand of attacking football. They have managed to conquer the Premier League a number of times but the Champions League has eluded them so far.
The arrival of Pep Guardiola at the club has also revolutionised football as the Spaniard has brought four EPL titles to the club. The massive investment has also seen Manchester City currently have one of the best stadiums in the world. They also have established a state of the art training centre which has some world class facilities for the players.
Khaldoon Al Mubarak who is the chairman of the club has been working hard to make the club the best in the world and he has already achieved his goal to some extent.

Road Ahead for Man City
Manchester City have made a multi million dollar football universe. The brand value of City is currently more than four billion dollars. Since taking over Sheikh Mansour has infused billions of dollars to make City in line with the other biggies.
It took time for them to build a sustainable revenue stream and nowadays they are one of the highest revenue generating clubs. They surpassed archrivals Manchester United as they posted revenue in excess of 730 million dollars. They are among very few clubs that have shown growth in their revenue model.
The club still doesn’t have its own stadium and pays rent to acquire the playing rights of the stadium. They are also planning to build their own stadium as the current stadium’s ownership is still with Manchester City Council.
City are still without a Champions League title despite their monopoly in the English league in recent times. They have failed to convert their dominance in the European circuit and their priority will be to lift the Champions League title under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.
