Yashasvi Jaiswal – batsman, India 

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been one of the standout young batsmen in the IPL and will now look to prove his mettle against the Australian bowlers.

In his eight innings for India, Jaiswal has accumulated 248 runs, with his standout performance being a century, scoring 100 in the quarterfinals of the Asian Games 2023 against Nepal.

Travis Head – batsman, Australia 

Travis Head comes into this series on the back of a player of the match award in the final of the ODI World Cup. He scored 137 to help Australia chase down the target comfortably. In the game’s shortest format, Head has a batting average and strike rate of 28.75 and 140.67.

Ishan Kishan – wicketkeeper batsman, India

Ishan Kishan has played some good innings in the shortest format, but has been inconsistent and will be looking for a good outing in this series. In 29 T20Is, Kishan has scored 686 runs at an average and strike rate of 24.50 and 121.63.
