Match: India vs England (IND vs ENG, 2nd Test)
Date: February 13 – February 17, 2021
Venue: MA Chidambaram Stadium – Chennai, India
The English cricket team shocked India when they defeated the hosts by a mammoth margin of 227 runs at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai in the last game. The second Test of the upcoming game will be held at Chennai as well. And the Indians will be looking for a strong comeback as they aim to seal their spot in the finals of the World Test Championships.
The England team were led by skipper Joe Root, who scored a fine double hundred in the last game. It was his second double ton in three Test matches, and the ICC Test batsman number three will be eager to continue his form. He was ably supported by Dom Sibley, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes and Ollie Pope with the bat, while James Anderson and Jack Leach were the heroes with the ball. However, the visiting team will be without a number of experienced players for the second game as a part of their rotation policy.
The Indians, on the other hand, failed to put up a fight with no batter other than Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant looking in good touch.

Match prediction of IND vs ENG, 2nd Test:
Though the Indians lost the first Test, they are a strong team, especially at home. The loss was their first in India since 2017, which is evidence of how dominant they are. The English team are without several key players, and their batting is largely dependent on Joe Root. If the Indians can send back Root early, they will fancy their chances of leveling the series 1-1.
MPL Fantasy XI:
Rishabh Pant, Joe Root, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Ben Stokes, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Jack Leach, Stuart Broad
Captain and vice-captain selection:
Ravichandran Ashwin: The spinner was in superb form against Australia, and managed to pick up 6 wickets in the second innings against England. The office had also scalped three in the first innings, which took his match haul to nine wickets. Ashwin will find the conditions here to his liking, and he will be the key yet again. He is more than handy with the bat too.
Ben Stokes: The all-rounder has reinvented his game in the last few seasons, and has emerged as the biggest match winner for England. The English player smashed a quick 82 in the first innings against India in the last game, and then got the important wicket of Virat Kohli in the second session. He has the skills to change the complexion of the game with both bat and ball.
