India vs South Africa, 3rd T20I:

India have been given a reality check by the Protea fire in the ongoing T20I series as the visitors took 2-0 lead on Sunday. India will host South Africa in the crucial third game at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.

The second T20I at Cuttack saw South Africa beat the hosts by four wickets. Ishan Kishan scored 35 off 21 while Shreyas Iyer added 40 off 35 balls but India’s middle order struggled badly on a tricky pitch. Dinesh Karthik also had difficulty but made up for it with late hitting, scoring 30 off 21 to propel India to 148/6.

South Africa got off to a terrible start, losing three wickets to Bhuvneshwar Kumar inside the powerplay. Heinrich Klaasen, coming into the side as a replacement, blasted Indian bowlers all over the park with his blistering 81 off just 46 and single-handedly won the game for his team.

Earlier in the series, South Africa chased down 212 in the first game. India will be desperate to win the third T20I and stay alive in the series.
