Needing to win the match to keep the series alive, the hosts annihilated South Africa by 82 runs in the fourth T20I at Rajkot. India had a difficult start while batting first on a tricky surface. But Dinesh Karthik’s 55 off 27 and Hardik Pandya’s 46 off 31 propelled them to a strong total of 169/6, with 73 runs from the last five overs.
The Indian bowlers were on song from the get go, not letting South Africans off the hook. Avesh Khan registered his best international figures of 4 for 18 while Yuzvendra Chahal picked 2 for 21 as they shot out the visitors for just 87 – their lowest ever T20I score.
With the series up for grabs, expect a closely fought contest between the two teams in Bangalore on super Sunday.

QDK had a terrific Indian T20 League season but has failed in two games this series. At a good batting venue of Bangalore, he could be a great C/VC option coming at 10 credits.
Hardik Pandya: All-rounder, India
Hardik Pandya has made a strong comeback to cricket after injury struggles. Following a stellar season in the Indian T20 League 2022, Hardik has scored 31*, 9, 31* and 46 in the ongoing series. Dwaine Pretorius: All-rounder, South Africa
Dwaine Pretorius adds a lot of value to the South African side with both bat and ball.
