India vs South Africa, 5th T20I:

India have made a remarkable comeback with two back to back dominant victories to level the series 2-2. The two teams will now meet in the fifth T20 international with all to play for, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday, June 19.

Needing to win the match to keep the series alive, the hosts annihilated South Africa by 82 runs in the fourth T20I at Rajkot. India had a difficult start while batting first on a tricky surface. But Dinesh Karthik’s 55 off 27 and Hardik Pandya’s 46 off 31 propelled them to a strong total of 169/6, with 73 runs from the last five overs.

The Indian bowlers were on song from the get go, not letting South Africans off the hook. Avesh Khan registered his best international figures of 4 for 18 while Yuzvendra Chahal picked 2 for 21 as they shot out the visitors for just 87 – their lowest ever T20I score.

With the series up for grabs, expect a closely fought contest between the two teams in Bangalore on super Sunday.
