India and Sri Lanka will go head to head in the first ODI of the three-match series at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on January 10. The hosts won the T20I series 2-1 and will now be eyeing an ODI series win as well.
A number of their big names, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, who were not a part of the T20I series, are making a comeback for the 50-over format. The certainty of Bumrah being in the XI, however, is little because there are reports that the team management does not want to risk playing him as he is yet to fully recover from injury.
