United Arab Emirates women have played one match in the competition so far, losing to Sri Lanka by 11 runs on DLS method. Their bowling attack did an excellent job to restrict Sri Lanka to just 109/9.

Vaishnave Mahesh snared 3 for 15 in her four overs while Mahika Gaur bagged 3 for 21. Samaira Dharnidharka also claimed 2 for 18 off three overs. Chasing a revised target of 66 in 11 overs after rain interruption, the UAE women could not get going and could only manage 54/7.

Vaishnave Mahesh: Bowler, United Arab Emirates

The 15yr old leg-spinner has done a pretty good job for the UAE in the shorter format. Vaishnave Mahesh has picked 27 wickets in 21 innings this year at an economy of 4.46, including best figures of 4/12. She was magnificent versus Sri Lanka, bagging 3 for 15.

Rajeshwari Gayakwad: Bowler, India

The left arm orthodox is a very skillful bowler in the shorter format. Gayakwad has played 37 T20I matches, picking 45 wickets at an economy of 6.47 with best of 3/9. She was superb in the previous game, picking 1 for 6 including a maiden.
