After 20 matches in the group stage across four venues in India, the Road Safety World Series 2022 has its four finalists in Sri Lanka Legends, India Legends, Australia Legends and West Indies Legends.
In the first Semi-final, we will witness India Legends and Australia Legends locking horns at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday, September 28th.
Both the teams finished on the table with 14 points each. India Legends won two of their five games as three were washed out due to rain while Australia Legends won three matches and lost one.
India Legends have been very unfortunate with the weather, getting one full game under their belt. They hammered South Africa by 61 runs in the first game and later defeated England by 40 runs in a rain-shortened 15-over contest.
Australia Legends lost their opening game versus Sri Lanka but bounced back to beat Bangladesh and West Indies to secure the top four spot. They hammered England by six wickets in their last game to jump to second place. Australia chased down 161 in just 13.4 overs on the back of Shane Watson’s 47 off 26 and Ben Dunk’s 13-ball 42.
Pitch Report and Weather Forecast for IND-L vs AUS-L, 1st Semi-final
The pitch at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur is expected to be good for batting in this tournament. The final two group matches were played here, with the first innings scores reading 213 and 160.

Bryce McGain has done a pretty good job for Australia Legends in the ongoing season. He has picked 5 wickets from three innings at an economy of 7.91, including best figures of 3 for 23. McGain only played 13 matches in his T20 career, picking 14 scalps at 7.88 rpo.
Pragyan Ojha: Bowler, India Legends
The left arm orthodox spinner has snared 6 wickets in the competition with best figures of 3 for 36 which came in the last game versus Bangladesh. Pragyan Ojha was a good T20 bowler in his time, picking 156 wickets at an economy of 7.23 with three four-wicket hauls.
