Talent, Elegance and Timing – Those are the three words that have stuck with Rohit Sharma from the time he arrived into the cricketing circles.
Making his T20I debut in the inaugural edition of the World T20 in 2007, Rohit played crucial roles for the Men in Blue in the three innings that he played in the tournament. In the Indian T20 League, he has been instrumental in leading Mumbai to titular wins from the time he took on the mantle in 2013, followed by wins in 2015, 2017, 2019, and successfully defending the title in 2020. The 33-year-old has a win percentage of 60.34, with 70 wins in 116 matches. As far as his international achievements are concerned, he has won 8 out of 10 times as a captain in the ODIs, and 15 times out of 19 instances in the T20 Internationals.
