Lucknow Super Giants: Strengths and Weaknesses

Lucknow Super Giants have built an extremely competitive bowling unit in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Avesh Khan, Mark Wood (replaced by Andrew Tye), Marcus Stoinis and Jason Holder bring pace as well as variety with their bowling. Ravi Bishnoi is one of the most promising spinners in the Indian scene and former Mumbai Indians all-rounder Krunal Pandya adds a different dimension to that department along with K Gowtham.

With the likes of KL Rahul, Evin Lewis and Quinton de Kock, Lucknow Super Giants have a strong top-order as far as batting is concerned. However, their biggest weakness is expected to be the lack of a quality Indian batsman in IPL 2022. Manish Pandey had a disastrous season in 2021 while Manan Vohra is hardly known for reliability and consistency.
