Men’s Hundred 2022, match 15: BHM vs TRN Fantasy Preview and MPL Top Picks

Match: Birmingham Phoenix vs Trent Rockets (BHM vs TRN)

Date: August 15, Monday, 10:30 PM IST

Venue: Edgbaston, Birmingham

Trent Rockets will take on Birmingham Phoenix in the 15th game of the men’s Hundred 2022 at Edgbaston in Birmingham on August 15.

Phoenix have had a decent start to their 2022 campaign, winning two of their three games. They lost their first to Trent Rockets narrowly, before winning the next two games against Southern Brave and Welsh Fire, respectively. In their most recent game against Fire, Phoenix scored 130 for 7 in 100 balls, which initially seemed insufficient. But their bowlers did a good job to defend the target. Tom Helm and Kane Richardson picked up two wickets each while Benny Howell also chipped in with one.

Trent Rockets, on the other hand, are unbeaten in the tournament so far, having won all their first three games. Their first win came over the Phoenix, and the next two over Northern Supercharges and Manchester Originals, respectively. Against the Originals, they put up a stunning performance with the bat to successfully chase down 190 runs in 94 balls. Dawid Malan remained unbeaten on 98, while Alex Hales and Tom Kohler-Cadmore also played important cameos.

If Phoenix in the next game, they will displace Rockets from their number one spot in the points table. Ahead of the 15th game of men’s Hundred 2022, let’s look at the head to head of both the teams, pitch report, weather update, top picks for your MPL fantasy team and more.
