87/10 – MI vs SRH, 2018

Mumbai Indians team might never forget this match against Sunrisers Hyderabad that was played in May 2018. Their bowlers had restricted the opposition to just 118 runs at the Wankhede Stadium. But MI batters struggled to get going right from the word go. They lost their first three wickets for just 21 runs with Evin Lewis, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma not scoring much. Krunal Pandya then shared a 40-run stand only for the team to collapse and get bowled for just 87 runs in the 19th over of the innings. Only Suryakumar Yadav and Krunal reached double figures as MI registered their joint-lowest score in IPL history.

87/10 – MI vs KXIP, 2011

MI had registered their lowest score back in 2011 scoring 87 runs against Punjab Kings (then Kings XI Punjab). They were chasing 164 runs in Mohali and the team couldn’t even cross the 100-run mark. Sachin Tendulkar was the captain of the team then and no batter crossed the 20-run mark. Kieron Pollard was the top-scorer with 17 runs even as only four batters could reach the double-figure mark.

92/10 – MI vs DC, 2012

MI third lowest score in the history of IPL is 92 which they registered in the 2012 IPL edition against Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils). Harbhajan Singh was the captain in this match and he was the top-scorer in the line-up mustering 33 runs. Rohit Sharma was the only other batter to reach double-figures with 29 runs to his name. But the other batters literally couldn’t buy a run as MI were skittled for only 92 runs. Delhi Daredevils chased down the score with seven wickets in hand in the 15th over of the innings.

After being reduced to 5/3 in the second over itself, James Franklin and Dinesh Karthik then scored 32 runs each to try and stage a comeback. But once their partnership was broken, it was all one-way traffic as MI could only reach 101 runs in their 20 overs.

108/10 – MI vs KKR, 2012

The 2012 season saw MI posting their 8th-lowest IPL score, this time against Kolkata Knight Riders. All the top five batters got a start but none could go past Sachin Tendulkar who scored 27 runs. Sunil Narine was the star with the ball for KKR picking up 4 wickets for just 15 runs as MI scored only 108 runs in the chase.
