Neymar is currently the holder of the number 10 shirt at Paris Saint Germain. The former Barcelona forward sealed a world record transfer to PSG as the French club paid a whopping £200m to acquire his service. Neymar started his career with Santos FC and pretty quickly rose through the ranks of the club. He scored 10 times in the Brazilian top tier and from there it was no looking back. He took over the number 10 shirt and had worked his way to climb up the steps and almost got a club legend status at the club.

He scored galore of goals during his time at the Brazilian club and emerged as one of the most exciting youngsters in world football. He netted 17 goals in the Brazilian league and another 13 the next season followed by another 12 goals in 2012. He used to wear the number 10 during his entire journey with Santos FC.

He continued his goal scoring traits in the next seasons too as he netted 24 goals in 2015-16 and another 13 in the 2016-17 season. He then moved to Paris and maintained his stature for PSG.

In his first season with the French club, he scored 19 goals in the Ligue 1 and then the next two seasons he scored 15 and 13 goals for the club. He has had problems with persistent injury issues as he hasn’t been at his best throughout his PSG career.

He has been wearing the number 10 jersey since he arrived at the club. When Messi signed for PSG last summer from Barcelona Neymar did offer him the number 10 shirt but the Argentine rejected his advances and picked up the number 30 at Parc des Princes.
