Five players to watch out for

Here we list five players you must pick in your MPL fantasy XI PAK vs ENG, 3rd T20I

Babar Azam – batsman, Pakistan

Captain of the Pakistan team, Babar Azam was struggling for runs ahead of this series. He scored only 68 runs at the Asia Cup, and in the first T20I of the on-going series, the opener scored only 31. However, Azam returned to form in the second T20I, where he scored an unbeaten 110 off 66 balls at a strike rate of 166. His knock was laced with 11 boundaries and five maximums. Currently the no. 3 batsman in ICC T20I rankings, Babar Azam has nearly 3000 runs in 82 T20Is at an average and strike rate of 43.86 and 129.93.

Mohammed Rizwan – wicketkeeper batsman, Pakistan

Azam’s opening partner Mohammed Rizwan, who was the leading run-getter at the Asia cup with 281 runs in six matches, is also the leading run-scorer in the on-going series. Rizwan has scored a half century in both the first two games and will now look for a hattrick of fifties. In all, the prolific opening batsman has an average of almost 54 in T20Is.

Haris Rauf – bowler, Pakistan

Haris Rauf, who was impressive at the Asia Cup, picked up one wicket in the first T20I and two more in the second game. In absence of an injured Naseem Shah, he is Pakistan’s key bowler.

Alex Hales – batsman, England

Among the most flamboyant T20 batsmen, Alex Hales scored a half century in the first game to announce his return to international cricket in style.

Philip Salt – batsman, England

Phil Salt, who was the second-highest run-scorer in the Men’s Hundred 2022 with 353 runs at a strike rate of 152.81, has scored 40 runs combined in the first two T20Is and will look for a big one in the next game.
