Pakistan and England will meet for the sixth T20 of the seven-match series on September 30 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The hosts, who currently lead the series 3-2, will be looking to win the series by winning the sixth match.  

England won the first T20I by chased down 159 in 19.2 overs after Alex Hales scored a half century, but they lost the second T20I, in which they were unable to defend 199 as Mohammed Rizwan (88), and Babar Azam (103) wreaked havoc. England bounced back to win the third T20I by 63 runs after defending 221, while Pakistan won the fourth match after bowling out the opposition for 163.

The Babar Azam-led side didn’t put up a great batting performance in the fifth T20I, but their bowlers did an excellent job to win them the match. They were bowled out for 145 in 19 overs, after which the bowlers stepped up to defend the target. Each of the bowlers picked up at least one wicket to help Pakistan win by six runs.

The pitch at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore is well balanced for both batsmen and bowlers in limited-overs cricket. We saw this in the previous game as well, in which both the batsmen and bowlers did well. The fast bowlers have historically fared well on this wicket.

Mohammed Rizwan injured himself in the fifth T20I and his availability for the next game has not been confirmed yet.

Mohammed Rizwan – wicketkeeper batsman, Pakistan

Mohammed Rizwan is the leading run-scorer in the on-going series with 315 runs in five matches and a strike rate of over 140. He has already scored four half centuries in five games and will now be looking for his fifth fifty of the series. In all, Rizwan batsman has an average of almost 54 in T20Is.

Haris Rauf – bowler, Pakistan

Haris Rauf is the leading wicket taker this series with eight wickets in five matches. Rauf was also named the Player of the Match in the fourth game for picking up three wickets while conceding 32 runs.

Moeen Ali – all-rounder, England

Moeen Ali was England’s best batsman in the fifth T20I. He top scored for the side with an unbeaten 51 runs off 37 balls. Among the most experienced players in the team, Ali has a batting average and strike rate of 22.75 and 146.69 in 60 T20Is.

Harry Brook – batsman, England

Harry Brook is the leading run-scorer for England with 192 runs in five matches at an average of 64 and a strike rate of 164.1. He scored his maiden half-century in the third game. Although Brook has played just nine T20Is, he boasts of a strike rate of over 150.
