Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi:

The 2nd match of the Pakistan Super League 2022 will witness last year’s finalists Peshawar Zalmi take on Quetta Gladiators. The two teams will battle it out at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday, January 28.

In the PSL 2021, Peshawar Zalmi finished third on the points table with five victories to their name. They then defeated Karachi Kings in the Eliminator 1 and hammered the table-toppers Islamabad United in the Eliminator 2 to reach the final. The Zalmi came short by 47 runs in the final against Multan Sultans.

Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, had an abysmal season in 2021, losing eight matches and winning only two as they finished at the bottom of the table. The Sarfaraz Ahmed-led side has brought in some reinforcements for this edition. Both the teams have won the PSL title once and will be looking to start the seventh edition with a win.
