Match: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders (RCB vs KKR)
Date:October 12, 2020
Venue: Sharjah Cricket Stadium – Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Both KKR and RCB have four wins and two losses in IPL 2020 thus far, and will be looking to continue their winning momentum. RCB bounced back strongly in their last game against CSK, with skipper Virat Kohli smashing an unbeaten 90 from just 52 balls to help his team post 169 for 4. In reply, Chris Morris, playing his first IPL 2020 game, picked up 3 for 19 to help RCB to a win by 37 runs.
KKR, on the other hand, too will come into the clash after a narrow 2-run win. Dinesh Karthik smashed a fine 58 in 29 balls as his team managed 164 for 6 on the board. Prasidh Krishna picked up 3 for 29 as Punjab stumbled. KKR will be worried by the knee injury to Andre Russell that he suffered while fielding against Punjab. The West Indian did not bowl in the game and did not return to the field either. Spinner Sunil Narine has been reported for a suspect action as well, and while he can continue bowling, another warning will mean a suspension.
A hot and humid evening awaits at Sharjah. It will be a dry and a clear evening with hardly any breeze.
The ground in Sharjah is the smallest in the UAE and we have seen plenty of runs being scored here. Another game with plenty of runs on offer awaits.
The toss will be important as the wicket here will get slower in the second half. Chasing will not be the easiest, and the team that wins the toss will be looking to bat first.

MPL Fantasy Prediction for RCB vs KKR:
WK: AB de Villiers is one of the most dangerous players if he gets going. Mr. 360, as he is called, has an array of shots at his disposal, and can be a threat at the venue. Dinesh Karthik got back to form with a blazing fifty in the game against Punjab, and will want to continue his form.
Batsmen: Virat Kohli has more than 200 runs in his last three innings, and there is no reason that he should not be a part of the MPL fantasy team. Eoin Morgan has got a couple of important cameos this season, and will hope to get a big one here. Devdutt Padikkal is one of the most promising youngsters this season and has given RCB solid starts at the top of the order.
All-rounders: Andre Russell, if fit, will be the X-factor for KKR. He has been the team’s death overs bowler of late and will be eager to get back to form with the bat. Chris Morris picked up a three-wicket haul in the last game and can also pitch in with the bat, while Washington Sundar has been impressive and economical in the powerplay overs.
Bowlers: Pat Cummins has been economical, while Kamlesh Nagarkoti has been crucial for KKR in the middle overs. Yuzvendra Chahal is the most impressive RCB bowler thus far, and has kept things tight as well.
