Meanwhile, Kl Rahul, who recently scored a ton in the last outing versus Royal Challengers Bangalore, clocked another fifty-plus total.
It was a composed and mature knock of 69 runs (54b, 7 fours, 1 six) that along with Agarwal’s ton, and the cameos played by Glenn Maxwell (13*) and Nicholas Pooran (25*) helped the Punjab franchise post 223 runs on board.

The manner in which he was batting and with the overs remaining, Agarwal could have easily surpassed KL Rahul’s century knock that erupted in the game against Virat Kohli-led RCB.
