SA vs IND, 3rd ODI: 

Having already lost the three-match ODI series, India will be looking for a consolation win in the last game of the tour. They will take on South Africa in the third ODI at Newlands in Cape Town on January 23. 

The hosts have been clinical in the series, dominating both the matches for most of the part. They defeated India in the first ODI by 31 runs after posting 296/4 on the board. In the second ODI, India batted first and managed 287/6 in 50 overs. In response, the Proteas made easy work of it as they chased down the target with seven wickets and 11 balls in the bank. 

The series has seen some terrific individual performances from both sides, be it Rassie van der Dussen and Temba Bavuma centuries or fifties from Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, Quinton de Kock and Janneman Malan. Expect some quality performances in the third ODI as well.

Marco Jensen was left out of the side in the second ODI for Sisanda Magala but could be brought back in this game. In the bowling department, you can expect a couple of changes with Mohammad Siraj and Deepak Chahar in contention.

Quinton de Kock: Wicketkeeper Batter, South Africa 

The South African wicketkeeper is one of the best white-ball openers in world cricket. He has a fantastic record to boast of, having scored 5460 runs from 126 ODIs at an average of 46 and strike rate of 96. De Kock has 16 hundreds and 27 fifties to his name in this format and is coming fresh off a 66-ball 78 in the last game. QDK will cost you 9.5 credits and is a good captaincy option. 

Rassie van der Dussen: Batter, South Africa 

Rassie van der Dussen has been incredible for South Africa in the middle order. In 31 ODIs, he has piled up 1215 runs at an unbelievable average of 76 while striking at 90. Rassie has two hundreds and nine fifties to his credit. He’s been superb in the series, hammering career-best 129* in the first game and following it up with 37*. He will cost you 9 credits and can be a good VC option.  

Virat Kohli: Batter, India 

Virat Kohli has enviable numbers in One-Day internationals. The Indian no. 3 has scored 12220 runs in 255 ODIs, averaging an excellent 59 at a strike rate of 93. He has registered 43 hundreds and 63 fifties in this format. In his last 13 matches, Kohli has scored eight fifties,including 51 in the first ODI. He costs 10.5 credits and is a reliable VC option. 

Rishabh Pant: Wicketkeeper Batter, India 

Rishabh Pant is a dynamic middle order batter and is amongst the best talents in world cricket. He has been in sublime form in the fifty-over format, smashing three fifties in the last four games. He has scored 401 runs in his last eight matches, averaging 50 while striking at 126. Pant is coming off a brutal 71-ball 85 and can be a good VC option. He costs 9 credits. 

Shikhar Dhawan: Batter, India 

Shikhar Dhawan is one of the most consistent players in ODI cricket. He has been terrific for India at the top, scoring 6213 runs in 147 games at an average of 46 while striking at 94. The southpaw has 17 hundreds and 34 fifties to his name. Dhawan scored 79 off 84 in the first ODI and had a good start of 29 in the second. He will cost you 9.5 credits in the MPL XI.
