Five players to watch out for

Here we list five players you must pick in your MPL fantasy XI for SC-W vs IRE-W

Orla Prendergast – batter, Ireland Women

The star all-rounder is currently the leading run scorer for Ireland with 92 runs in two matches, including a top knock of 75 runs off 45 balls which came in the second T20I. Since making her T20I debut in 2019, Prendergast has featured in 22 matches for Ireland, from which she has 290 runs at an average of 19.33 and strike rate of 120.83. With the ball, the right arm medium pacer has picked up 14 wickets in the format.

Saskia Horley – all-rounder, Scotland Women

Saskia Horley has been Scotland’s best batter so far. She scored 52 runs off 42 balls in the first match and 44 runs off 33 balls in the second. Scotland lost both the matches and Horley will now look to score another good knock but in a winning cause. This is the first T20I series for the right hander, who brings with her the experience of playing in tournaments like the Big Bash League.

Arlene Kelly – bowler, Ireland

With three wickets in two games, Arlene Kelly is the leading wicket taker in the series so far. Most recently, she was impressive against Netherland Women too. In the third ODI played against Netherlands last month Kelly picked up three wickets while conceding only nine runs.

Sarah Bryce – wicketkeeper batter, Scotland Women

Sarah Bryce, currently one of the best players that Scotland have, failed to convert her starts in both the matches. She scored 14 in the first T20I and 17 in the next. But she still remains a good pick for your fantasy team. Most recently, Bryce impressed in the Women’s Hundred, before which she did well at the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy as well.

Gaby Lewis – batter, Ireland

Gaby Lewis has scored only 11 runs combined in the first two matches, and will look to redeem herself in the final T20I. Most recently, she did well in the ODI series against Netherlands, which includes a knock of 92 in the final ODI. Overall in 56 T20Is, she has 1172 runs at a strike rate of 110.87.
