South Africa Legends will take on Sri Lanka Legends in Match 10 of the Road Safety World Series 2022 at the Holkar Stadium in Kanpur.

The Sri Lankans have made a great start to their campaign, with convincing wins over Australia Legends and England Legends. Against Australia, they scored 218 in 20 overs while losing only a solitary wicket, and then bowled out Australia for 180 in 18 overs. Nuwan Kulasekara picked up four wickets while Chaturanga de Silva and Jeevan Mendis took two wickets each. Earlier in the game, openers Dilshan Munaweera and Tillakaratne Dilshan stitched together a first-wicket partnership of 208 runs. In the next game against England, Sanath Jayasuriya picked up four wickets to help bowl out the opponents for 78 runs, after which it was a comfortable chase for the Lankans.

The South Africa Legends, on the other hand, lost by 61 runs to the India Legends in their first game, but won the next game by nine wickets over New Zealand Legends.

Johan Botha picked up four wickets, which helped restrict New Zealand to 99 runs in 20 overs. With the bat, Andrew Puttick scored a half century to help the Proteas chase down the target in 13.3 overs.

He was dismissed for 15 runs in the next game and will now look to bounce back in the third game. Dilshan Munaweera – batsman, Sri Lanka Legends

Opener batsman Dilshan Munaweera unbeaten on 95 off 63 balls laced with 10 boundaries and two maximums in the game against Australia Legends. In the following game against England Legends, he scored 24 but could not convert it into a long innings. Dilshan played two ODI and 13 T20Is for Sri Lanka between 2012 and 2017.

Sanath Jayasuriya – bowler, Sri Lanka legends

Sanath Jayasuriya was absolutely brilliant in the previous game. He finished with figures of 4/3 from his four overs. This including two maidens and his economy rate was merely 0.80. One of the greatest all-rounders of his generation, Jayasuriya played 110 Tests, 445 ODIs and 31 T20Is for Sri Lanka.

Andrew Puttick – batsman, South Africa Legends

Andrew Puttick was South Africa Legends’ highest run scorer in the match against New Zealand Legends. He scored 51 not out from 36 balls and will be looking to carry the form into the next game.

Johan Botha – all-rounder, South Africa Legends

Johan Botha began tournament with disappointing figures of 0-39 against India Legends but was among the best bowlers against New Zealand Legends, conceding only 11 runs and taking four wickets in four overs.
