Trinbago Knight Riders vs St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, 4th ODI:

Both Trinbago Knight Riders and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots aren’t having the best of time in the Caribbean Premier League 2022. The Knight Riders have won three of their eight games, whilst Patriots won just two of their eight games with another two getting washed away.

The Patriots had a forgettable outing against table toppers Barbados Royals in their previous assignment. Chasing 157 runs, they could only manage 120 before getting bowled out, struggling to make their impression on the game with the bat and ball.

Trinbago were involved in one of the CPL of the year against St Lucia Kings in their last game. They lost just by one run despite some late fireworks from Andre Russell. They have a solid experienced core with the likes of Russell, Sunil Narine and Ravi Rampaul and one can expect them to bounce back strongly.

Both these sides have just two games remaining in the league stages and are fighting extensively for that top four spot. A defeat here could go a long way into ending the team’s campaign in 2022.

Pitch Report and Weather Forecast for TKR vs SKN, CPL Match 26

The Providence stadium is not known to be a very high-scoring ground and in the last few games we have seen glimpses of it. Spinners will find some purchase from the track and if the fast bowlers can mix up their speeds, they can take advantage of the slowness in the pitch.

There were some thunderstorms in Georgetown on Wednesday and some scattered showers are predicted for Thursday. The temperatures will remain between 26-31 degrees and fans will be hoping for the game to go as per plan.

CPL 2022, Match 26: Five players to watch out for in the TKR vs SKN match

Here we take a look at five key players you must pick in your MPL fantasy XI:

Andre Fletcher: Batter, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots

The 34-year-old opener is having a great time individually despite the team not doing very well. He has scored 207 runs at an average of 41.40, including a terrific 81 off 50 balls against Barbados Royals in the early stages of the tournament. This will be his 99th match in the CPL and he is the third highest run-scorer in the tournament history, with 2,537 runs. He is one big knock away from taking the top spot. He costs 9 credits.

Sunil Narine: All-rounder, Trinbago Knight Riders

Arguably one of the most productive T20 players the format has seen, Sunil Narine is having a terrific time in CPL 2022, having picked up 9 wickets in 7 games at an economy of just 4.89. He is making life difficult on these slow tracks and in the coming games, he could get even more lethal once he begins contributing with the bat too.

Andre Russell: All-rounder, Trinbago Knight Riders

Andre Russell is beginning to join the party having not had the best of run in the first 4-5 games. He did get going in the previous game and banged a 11-ball 23 coming in the final two overs. He also picked up five wickets thus far with the ball, including a terrific 3/16 against Guyana.

Ravi Rampaul: Bowler, Trinbago Knight Riders

The veteran fast bowler has been in terrific touch lately, and is picking wickets for fun in CPL 2022. He has picked up 11 wickets in just six outings and is the highest wicket-taker for the Knight Riders this edition. He bowled just two overs in the last game, but picked up two crucial wickets and gave away just 10 runs.

Rashid Khan: Bowler, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots

One of the favourite picks for fantasy managers, Rashid Khan is a match-winner any team would want to have on their side. This edition of the CPL has not been incredibly productive for the Afghanistan spinner, but in the four games he has played, he picked up four wickets at a fantastic economy of 5.25. Although he scored just 31 runs with the bat in these games, he is capable of upping the ante if needed.
