Five players to watch out for

Here we list five players you must pick in your MPL fantasy XI IND-W vs ML-W, Asia Cup 2022

Elsa Hunter – batter, Malaysia Women

The right hand batter was the top scorer for Malaysia Women in their opening match of the tournament against Pakistan Women. Of the total 57 runs that Malaysia Women made, 29* were scored by Hunter alone. In her last two international outings before the Asia Cup, Hunted score a half century each. Overall she has featured in 26 T20Is, from which she has a batting average of almost 22.

Wan Julia – wicketkeeper batter, Malaysia Women

Wan Julia was one of only two batters to reach double digits in the previous game. She chipped in with 11 runs – the second highest individual score by any batter in her team. The wicketkeeper batter has overall played 37 T20 internationals, in which she has scored 461 runs.

Shafali Verma – batter, India Women

Shafali Verma was not able to get going in the previous game, but she is still a great pick for your MPL fantasy team. She has 935 runs in T20Is at an impressive strike rate of 136.29. She will look to make most of Malaysia’s poor bowling to get back to form.

Deepti Sharma – all-rounder, India Women

Deepti Sharma did well against Sri Lanka, picking up two wickets. Sharma is one of India’s dependable players in the game’s shortest format in which she has a bowling average of 21.52. She is also a good striker of the ball.

Smriti Mandhana – batter, India Women

India’s best batter, Mandhana, who has T20I batting average and strike rate of 26.84 and 122.49, was dismissed cheaply in the first game but is still a good pick for your fantasy team’s captaincy.
