It was initially launched as the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings (CSK) in the first season but was rebranded in the 2025 season as the team struggled to make a noteworthy impact on the tournament. The team’s name, “Warriors,” reflects Satara’s historical legacy of bravery and resilience. Since their debut, the Warriors have been a competitive team, known for their balanced squad and spirited performances.
In the inaugural MPL season (2023), the Satara Warriors showed a promising performance, however, they didn’t qualify for the playoffs. In the 2024 season, they finished in fourth place. The team has leveraged the local cricket talent of Satara, building a strong foundation of players from district-level tournaments.
