How To Play Fantasy Cricket?

Download the MPL app and sign up with your mobile number. Choose Fantasy Cricket. Once you do this, you will be shown a list of upcoming matches or upcoming cricket tournaments that you can participate in. You can select an upcoming match with your favorite team playing, which you want to take part in from the Indian t20 league or any other league, and start making your fantasy team.

A cricket-crazy nation like India cannot get enough of the sport and MPL enables its users to join multiple contests for a particular match as well, which will have various prize money to be won depending upon the entry fee. You will get 100 credits with which you can choose your pick of real-life players for your fantasy XI team. The player to score the most points will win big prizes.

How to choose players?

You need 11 players to make a team and play fantasy cricket:

• Wicket-Keeper (Minimum- 1, Maximum 4)

• Batsmen (Minimum- 3, Maximum 6)

• All-rounders (Minimum-1, Maximum- 4)

• Bowlers (Minimum-3, Maximum- 6)

You can select a maximum of 7 players from one playing side and try out different combinations of your choice. Every user must choose their players by following team selection criteria given above.

How to manage teams?

You can manage your fantasy squads for a match from the 'Your Teams' section. This section can be found in every match on the MPL Fantasy Cricket app..

How many teams can I create for a single match?

A player can create from one team to multiple teams with various different player combinations to increase his/her chances of winning big cash prizes. The maximum number of squads one can create depends on the contest category that starts with a minimum of two teams and can keep increasing.

For example, a user can create a maximum of 40 teams in a Rumble Cricket Fantasy contest. The more the teams, the more the chances of winning cash rewards. MPL is a popular app where many cricket-crazy fans have won big prizes.

Fantasy Cricket Rules

Captain - The player you choose to be your pro-Fantasy Cricket team's Captain will receive 2X points. Scoring points become easy if you pick the right captain.

Vice-Captain - The player you choose to be your Vice-Captain will receive a 1.5X boost on the points scored by the selected player. After getting your captain pick right, this selection plays a key role in winning big money as it can fetch a user maximum points.

Starting points are assigned to players on the basis of the announcement of their inclusion in the playing XI. However, in case a player doesn't start after being included, he/she will not score points. Points will be awarded (including starting points) to the replacement in such cases. However, sports fans are always up to date with team news.

Strike rate scoring is applicable only for strike rates below 70 runs per 100 balls.

A player will not earn points from the events taking place during a Super Over.

Data is provided by reliable sources and once the points are allotted with the winners getting declared, no further adjustments will be made. Points awarded live in-game are subject to change as long as the status is 'In progress' or 'Waiting for review'.

How Do I Create My Team?

Go to the MPL Fantasy Sports tab and click 'Select a match.' , Now click on 'Add team' and create your teams and play. You can also select a contest and then click on 'Register team', where you will be prompted to select the existing team or create a new team.

FAQs

Can I change my MPL pro-Fantasy Cricket Team?

You can make as many changes as you like to your MPL fantasy team until the registration deadline for that match. You can also change your Captain or Vice Captain before the deadline. Select the 'Edit Team' button on the top right corner of your squad to make any changes.

Make sure you know which of your players are playing the match and keep your session updated at all times on the MPL Fantasy Cricket app. You can manage your squad ranging from a single game contest to big tournaments.
