How to Play Ludo 2 Dice on MPL?

The Setup:

In 2 Dice Ludo, each player begins with four pawns positioned strategically on the board. There are 6 minutes to finish the game. All 4 pawns are placed at the starting point for each player. The player can choose to race one pawn or play with two pawns at a time with a single roll of two dice.

Objective:

According to Ludo 2 Dice rules, the objective is to race all 4 of your pawns toward the endpoint before the opponent and knock out your opponent's pawns to earn extra points within 6 minutes. The player with a higher score wins the game.

The Board:

The ultimate destination for each pawn on the board, signifying the completion of a player's journey.

Players:

Ludo 2 Dice can be played between 2 to four players on the MPL app.

Gameplay

In Ludo 2 Dice, each player gets four pawns with the aim to move them from the starting point to the home base. The players roll two dice to race one or both the tokens according to the number generated. Here, you do not need a six to start a game; choose any number to start. The player gets an extra move after attacking the opponent's pawn. The opponent's points are reduced if their pawn is captured. Safe zones on the board, including player-created ones, offer protection from being knocked out. Capturing the opponent's pawns gives the player an extra turn to roll the dice. Moreover, if you capture an opponent's pawn or take any pawn to the endpoint, you are rewarded with extra points.

The game lasts 6 minutes after which the player with a higher score wins.

Tips to Win 2 Dice Ludo Game

Don't try to play with just one pawn:

Instead of rushing one pawn ahead, try to move two pawns at a time. Spreading your pawns out makes it harder for your opponents to block you and lets you capture their pawns more easily.

Adopt an attacking strategy:

An attacking strategy in Ludo means actively targeting your opponent's pieces and sending them back to the home base. This approach can hinder your opponent's progress, giving a strategic advantage. Moreover, you will gain extra points, and your opponent's points will be reduced.

Block Your Opponent:

On the other hand, blocking your opponents in Ludo is a defensive tactic in which you position the pawns strategically to obstruct their movement. By creating roadblocks near important positions on the board, you can significantly slow down the progress. This strategy will also protect your pieces and buy time to take the pawns to the finish line without the threat of being captured.

How is 2 Dice Ludo Different From Classic Ludo?

Here are the key differences between Classic Ludo and Ludo 2 Dice app:

Winning Classic Ludo: The aim is to get all the pawns to the home base before anyone else. 2-Dice Ludo: In Ludo 2 Dice, the goal is to get higher points than opponent when the timer ends.

Starting Position Classic Ludo: All pawns begin in the starting area, and only one must be moved onto the board after a six is rolled. 2-Dice Ludo: All pawns are placed on the board and you don't require a 6 to start the game.

Safe Zones Classic Ludo: Certain squares marked with stars provide safety from being captured. 2-Dice Ludo: In the Ludo 2 dice app, safe zones include squares marked with stars or colored squares, protecting from opponents.

Rolling a Six Classic Ludo: Rolling a six gives an extra turn and allows you to move a pawn. 2-Dice Ludo: There are 2 dice in the game; therefore, rolling a six doesn't give an extra turn.

Dice Classic Ludo: Usually, the traditional Ludo game is played with only one die. 2-Dice Ludo: Ludo 2 Dice game, as the name suggests, is played with two dice.
