Road Ahead for JFC
Having not done well in the last season the onus was on Jamshedpur to prove their credentials in the Indian Super League and they have done justice to their ranks as they have already won five matches keeping their playoffs hopes alive.
Under Owen Coyle’s guidance, they have been the team to watch out this season and the addition of quality players have done the trick for them. Peter Hartley has been an absolute pillar of strength in the backline while the likes of Ishan Pandita has come up with a useful number of goals this season.
Apart from bringing in Daniel Chukwu, The Red Miners also roped in Leslie Cleevely from SC East Bengal to be their new goalkeeping coach for the remainder of the season.
They became the first club to become a member of the Global Football Alliance where they will have the chance to share the experience with the biggies of World football. They also have a state of the art football academy that has been producing and nurturing young talents in an effort to encourage more children to take up football from a very tender age.
They don’t seem to have the dearth of homegrown talents and need to use them in a grand spectacle to grind out the very best from them.
