This is when Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar joined hands to resurrect the team’s innings. They added 122 runs for the seventh wicket and both of them scored their respective half-centuries. Thanks to their exceptional knocks, India managed to post 244 runs on the board in their allotted 50 overs.

In response, Pakistan never looked like chasing down the target. Sidra Ameen scored 30 runs and was the top run-getter of the innings while no other batter could cross the 24-run mark. India’s spin trio of Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana shared seven wickets between them in 26 overs while conceding only 89 runs.

In the end, Pakistan were bundled out for 137 runs in 43 overs and India won the game by a massive 107 runs.

When it comes to T20Is, Pakistan faced India in the Asia Cup in October 2022 and managed to beat the Women in Blue for the third time in the format. The game was played in Sylhet, Bangladesh and Pakistan opted to bat first after winning the toss. India’s bowlers started well keeping the Pakistan batters in check.

They also managed to pick three wickets for just 33 runs inside powerplay overs. However, Nida Dar stood strong with the bat smashing an unbeaten 56 off just 37 balls with 5 fours and a six. Her knock helped India to post a competitive total of 137 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Deepti Sharma was the best bowler for India returning with the figures of 3/27 while Pooja Vastrakar picked up two wickets.

In reply, India were timid in the run-chase and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Nashra Sandhu was the best bowler for Pakistan picking up three wickets while Sadia Iqbal and Nida Dar scalped two each. India were restricted to just 124 runs as they lost the game by 13 runs.
