Sunrisers Hyderabad: IPL Winner in 2016
The first and only win to date for the David Warner-led Sunrisers Hyderabad was against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. It was a tough match as SRH set a target of 209 runs for RCB. However, as Royal Challengers Bangalore lost its key players – Kohli, Gayle, and De Villiers, the team failed and lost by 8 runs. The second odd-year victory went in the hands of Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians. The Adam Gilchrist-led Deccan Chargers won the title in the second edition of IPL. The team that was at the bottom of the table in 2008 surprisingly won against RCB by 6 runs. Deccan Chargers scored 143/6 in 20 overs and RCB scored only 137/9 in 20 overs.
