India went 1-0 up in the three-match T20I series with a comfortable six-wicket victory on Wednesday. West Indies, who will be looking to stay alive in the series, will take on the hosts in the second T20 international at the same Eden Gardens on Friday. 

Ravi Bishnoi starred for India on his international debut, claiming 2 for 17 off his four overs while bowling first. Despite Nicholas Pooran scoring a well-paced 61 off 43, the visitors could only manage 157/7 as other batters failed to score at a good rate. 

In response, captain Rohit Sharma came out all guns blazing and smashed 40 off 19 balls. Ishan Kishan struggled to get going in his 42-ball 35 knock and India lost three quick wickets to make things a bit intense. However, Suryakumar Yadav scored a brisk 34 off 18 and Venkatesh Iyer added 24 off 13 to take the team home with seven balls to spare.

Mohammed Siraj missed the last game and if he is to return, one of Deepak Chahar or Bhuvneshwar Kumar could miss. Ravi Bishnoi made his debut and was excellent in the first T20I.

The 34yr old has scored 3237 runs in international T20s at an average of 33 and while striking at 140, including four centuries and 26 half centuries. Rohit has registered four fifties in his last seven T20 innings and is coming off a 19-ball 40 knock. He comes at 10.5 credits and is a good captaincy option.

Ravi Bishnoi: Bowler, India

Ravi Bishnoi has immense potential and is amongst the best leg-spinners in the world. The 21yr old was magnificent on his debut, snaring 2 for 17 in the first T20I. Bishnoi has 51 wickets from 43 T20 matches at a strike rate of 19.2. He will cost you only 8 credits and can be an excellent VC option. 

Nicholas Pooran: Wicketkeeper Batter, West Indies

Nicholas Pooran, one of the best players in the Windies cricket, has been working towards more consistency. The left hander has 4171 runs in T20 cricket at an average of 25 and has scored 337 runs in the last 10 innings at 37 average. Pooran is coming off a 43-ball 61 and at 9.5 credits, can be a good VC option. 

Ishan Kishan: Wicketkeeper Batter, India

Ishan Kishan had a real struggle in the first match, where he couldn’t score faster. But India are likely to stick with this talented youngster. He has 2761 runs in T20 cricket at an average of 28 while striking at 134. He has two hundreds and 15 fifties in the format. Kishan will cost you 8.5 credits. 

Kieron Pollard: Batter, West Indies 

Kieron Pollard is amongst the most destructive lower middle order batters in world cricket. His T20 numbers are staggering, with over 11000 runs at an average of 32 and strike rate of 152. Pollard’s last three T20 innings read 18*, 41* and 24* while also picking four wickets in the England series. He is priced at 9.5 credits.
