Top Players to watch out for in The Hundred women’s competition 2023

Nat Sciver-Brunt (Trent Rockets)

Nat Sciver-Brunt is the best limited overs all-rounder in the world. In the previous season of The Hundred, she scored 228 runs from six games at an average of 76 while striking at 123. She also bagged six wickets with the ball. Sciver-Brunt has been in incredible form, recently scoring back to back hundreds against Australia in their historic ODI series victory.

Marizanne Kapp (Oval Invincibles)

The South African all-rounder is one of the most valuable players in the game. Marizanne Kapp played four games in The Hundred last year, scoring 126 runs at a strike rate of 138 while only getting dismissed once. She also snared four wickets at 6.72 rpo. Kapp was excellent for Delhi in the Women’s T20 League earlier this year.

Amelia Kerr (London Spirit)

The leg-spinning all-rounder from New Zealand is amongst the most impactful players in the world. Amelia Kerr did well for London Spirit last season, claiming nine games and scoring 126 runs. Amelia played a key role in Mumbai’s title in the Women’s T20 League, scoring 149 runs at 133 strike rate while snaring 14 wickets at 6.59 rpo.

Danni Wyatt (Southern Brave)

Danni Wyatt is amongst the most destructive batters in women’s cricket. She has a pretty good record in T20 cricket with over 4500 runs at a strike rate of 125. She has smashed two centuries and 26 half centuries in the format. Wyatt blasted 76 off 46 in the second T20I against Australia recently.

Ellyse Perry (Birmingham Phoenix)

Ellyse Perry is arguably the greatest player the women’s game has ever seen. She has reinvented her T20 game, becoming a more valuable asset. Since the start of 2022, she has scored 1168 runs in the shorter format at an average of 43 while striking at 133. Perry doesn’t bowl as regularly but has still taken 18 wickets in this period.
