Objective

Each player in the game has to win a specific number of tricks, (2 or 3 or 5). The objective of the game is for the dealer to win two tricks, the player at the dealer's right to win 5 tricks, and the third player to win three tricks.

Deal

Before the game begins, a dealer out of the three players is chosen. The dealer can be chosen by any one of the methods below:

Take 3, 2, and 5 cards from the unused cards of the deck and place them face down. Let each player pick a card randomly. Then the player who gets 2 becomes the dealer and has to win at least 2 tricks, the player with 3 has to win at least 3 tricks, and the player with 5 has to win at least 5 tricks.

Let each player draw a card randomly from the deck. The player with the lowest ranking card becomes the dealer and has to win at least 2 tricks, the player with the highest ranking card has to win at least 5 tricks, and the player with the middle-ranking cards has to win at least 3 tricks.

Once the dealer has been chosen, they shuffle the cards and the player to the dealer's right cuts the deck. The dealer then deals a batch of 5 cards to each player starting from their right. The player to the right of the dealer announces the trump suit based on the first 5 cards. The dealer then deals another batch of 3 cards to each player and then a batch of two cards to each player such that each player has 10 cards in hand.

Gameplay

Once the dealer deals all the cards and the trump suit has also been announced, the player to the right of the dealer leads the first trick. The player can lead the first trick with any card, and the other players follow suit. If a player doesn't have a card of the same suit, they can either choose to play a trump card or any other card of another suit.

The player who plays the highest trump card, or if no trump is used, then the highest card of the same suit, wins the trick. The winner of each trick then leads the subsequent trick in a similar way. However, in the next round, the player who was assigned 2 tricks is assigned 3 tricks, the player who was assigned 3 tricks is assigned 5 tricks, and the 5-trick player is assigned 2 tricks.

For instance, if a player leads the trick with A of Spades, the second player plays 8 of Hearts, and the third player plays 7 of Spades. Assuming that Hearts is the trump. The player who plays the 8 of Hearts will win the trick.

The players who have won tricks keep the cards face down, arranged neatly such that each player can see how many tricks the player has won.
