How To Play Win Patti Skill Game

Win Patti Skill rules are somewhat similar to poker game rules, with slight differences in maintaining the skill in the game.

The game is usually played between 4-7 players with a deck of 52 cards.

The object of the game is to make the highest-ranking hand combination with three cards to win the pool and earn real money.

Win Patti Skill Terms

Boot:

The boot is the ante, entry fee, or the pot in win patti skill. Boot is the minimum amount placed on the board, which is equal to the total amount contributed by each player before the dealer deals the cards. Therefore, the ante or boot is a forced wager to start the game that incentivizes the game.

Post:

If a player misses the boot/ante and enters a game after the boot, the player has to 'post' to enter the game. As per the win patti skill rules, the post amount of the next hand must be equal to the boot at the time the player missed their turn. If the player who would normally post also happens to be in the ante in accordance with the Win Patti Skill rules, posting is not necessary. This is also called King Kong, Cowboys, or Ace Magnets.

Stake Amount:

The wager that the blind player places for the next player is called the stake amount. If the seen player places the wager, the stake amount becomes half the amount for the next player. In the case where the next player is a blind player, the wager is equal to the stake amount or twice the stake amount.

Blind Player:

A player who opts not to view their cards and play blind is called a blind player. A blind player can play blind, pack, and show if available. The blind amount equals the current stake amount of is twice the current stake amount. If the blind player is also the first player, the current stake is equal to the boot amount.

Seen Player:

A player that has viewed their cards is a seen player. The seen player can play chaal, pack, show, or side show, depending on the stage of the game.

Chaal:

The seen player must play chaal or a side show, if available, to stay in the game. To play chaal, the player wagers an amount in the pot, which is equal to two or four times the current stake amount. The stake amount equals the amount wagered by the previous player if that player is a blind player. However, if the previous player is a seen player, the stake amount equals half the wagered amount by that player.

Sideshow:

Sideshow refers to comparing the cards with that of the previous player. The slide show option is available only if the previous player is a seen player and there are more player still in the hand. To play a side show, the player must place a qual or twice the amount of the current stake in the pot. The previous player can choose to accept or deny the Side show.

Show (Showdown):

When all the player except two players fold in the win patti skill game, the cards of the remaining two players are compared, called Show. The hand with a higher ranking wins.

Win Patti Skill Game Rules

At the beginning of the game, each player contributes an amount as the boot amount, and then the dealer deals three cards face-down to each player. Win patti skill round begins with the player next to the dealer, and the game progresses in a clockwise direction. A player can choose to place a wager without seeing their cards (blind player) or after seeing the cards (seen player). A blind player can change to a seen player during the other rounds of the game. A blind player must wager the minimum stake at least. A seen player must bet two times the minimum stake amount. Win Patti Skill Show

The wagering in the game progresses until one of the following circumstances occurs: If all players, other than one, fold, the remaining player wins the pot, irrespective of the cards in hand. If all players other than two players fold, a player can request a show. If a player requests a show, both the players must reveal their cards to determine the winning hand. The hand rankings chart is followed to determine which player wins. Only a seen player can ask for a show with the blind player for four times the existing wager. If both the players are seen players, a player may ask for a show by wagering twice the current wager.

Win Patti Skill Hand Rankings

Three of a Kind:

A three of a kind hand consists of three cards of the same rank. The highest win patti skill sequence is A-A-A, and the lowest is 2-2-2.

Pure Sequence or Straight Flush:

A pure sequence or a straight flush consists of three consecutive cards of the same suit. A-2-3 is the highest straight flush, followed by A-K-Q, K-Q-J, and the lowest is 4-3-2.

Sequence or Straight:

A sequence or straight consists of three consecutive cards but not of the same suit. A-2-3 is the highest sequence, and 4-3-2 is the lowest.

Flush or Color:

Three cards of the same suit are called a flush or color in the win patti skill game. If two players playing win patti skill have flushes, the player with the higher card wins. If the two players have cards of the same rank, then the hands are ranked first by the spades suit and lastly by clubs suit.

Pair:

A pair or a double consists of two cards of the same rank. Aces (A-A) are the highest pair, and Deuces (2-2) are the lowest pair. According to the win patti skill rules, the player with a higher ranking pair wins in case of a tie between two pairs. However, if both players have the same pair, the player with a higher ranking third card wins.

High Card:

High card or no pair consists of cards that are neither consecutive nor of the same rank. In such circumstances, the highest ranking card wins. If two players have the same high card, the next higher ranking card is compared.

Limited And Unlimited Stake Tables

In the win patti skill game, there's a limit to the amount that a player can wager at a given time. For instance, if the boot is Rs. 2, the maximum a player can wager is four blinds, making the maximum chaal Rs 256 and increasing the Pot Limit to Rs 2048. When the pot limit is reached, all the players must reveal their cards, and the winner takes the pot.

Loose Vs Tight Play

While playing win patti skill, the players usually play hands after the first rounds or fold immediately. This is referred to as playing loose or playing tight. A player that follows a tight play approach tends to fold weak hands, whereas a player that follows a loose play approach wagers more on weak hands and is more likely to play the game till showdown.

Blind & Seen Concept

Community

The community variation of win patti skill game is similar to texas hold'em poker. In this game, the dealer deals incomplete hands of face-down cards to the players and then deals a few face-up community cards at the centre of the table. Three-card community - In this version, the dealer deals two cards, face-down, to each player, followed by one face-up community card.
