IND vs AUS, 2nd ODI match: Fantasy Preview and MPL Top Picks

Match: India vs Australia, 2nd ODI match (IND vs AUS)

Date: September 24, Sunday, 1.30 PM IST

Venue: Holkar Stadium, Indore

India and Australia will face off each other in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. India won the closely-fought opening ODI and will now be looking to seal the series.

In the first ODI which was played in Mohali, Mohammad Shami grabbed all the attention with a five-wicket haul. His brilliant spell helped keep the Australian batsmen from scoring a big total as they eventually managed 276. David Warner (52), Josh Inglis (45), Steve Smith (41) and Marnus Labuschagne (39) were among runs.

India, in reply, chased down the target with eight balls to spare. The foundation of the chase was built by openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill, who stitched together a first-wicket partnership of 142 runs. KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav also scored half centuries. This half century will be a big confidence booster for Yadav ahead of the World Cup beginning on October 5. Shreyas Iyer, meanwhile, would be disappointed after being run-out for three runs. The second ODI will probably be the last chance for Iyer to prove his mettle before the World Cup. He is unlikely to feature in the third and final ODI as the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, who were rested for the first two ODIs, will be returning.

Ahead of the second ODI between India and Australia, here is everything you need to know to maximize your chances of winning big cash prizes on MPL.
