Team Delhi lost their first five games but have won three in the last four to just about hang in there in the playoffs race. They have six points with a net run-rate of -0.768. They’re coming off a shocking win over the defending champions Gujarat by five runs. 

On a track that had help for bowlers, Delhi lost half their side for just 23 runs. Axar Patel (27) and Aman Khan provided some fightback with a fifty-run partnership. Aman Khan scored a terrific 51 off 44 to help his side get a respectable total of 130/8. 

The Delhi bowlers also reduced Gujarat to 32 for 4. The match went to the wire with Hardik Pandya scoring an unbeaten fifty. Ishant Sharma defended 12 runs off the final over against Hardik and Rahul Tewatia. 

Bangalore had defeated Delhi by 23 runs earlier this season. Delhi will be hoping to settle the scores and keep their playoffs hopes alive.
