Five players to watch out for

Here we list five players you must pick in your MPL fantasy XI PAK vs BAN, Asia Cup 2023

Babar Azam – batter, Pakistan

Skipper of the Pakistan team, Babar Azam is currently the World no. 1 ODI batter. Azam scored a fine knock of 151 runs against Nepal, before missing out the opportunity to bat against India. He currently has an incredible batting average of 58.44 in ODIs.

Shaheen Afridi – bowler, Pakistan

The pace sensation bowled brilliantly in the first two matches. He picked up two wickets against Nepal for 27 runs and four wickets against India for 35 runs. In the match against India, he became the first bowler in the game’s history to dismiss Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the same innings. The 23-year-old is one of the most fearsome bowlers in the world currently. He has taken 82 wickets in 41 ODIs for Pakistan.

Iftikhar Ahmed – batter, Pakistan

Iftikhar Ahmed scored an unbeaten 109 against Nepal, which is now also his highest knock in ODIs. He will be looking to replicate the performance in the Super 4 round. He has an impressive batting average of over 50 in 14 ODIs.

Shakib Al Hasan – allrounder, Bangladesh

The skipper scored only five runs against Sri Lanka before scoring an unbeaten 32 against Afghanistan. He also picked up two wickets for just 29 runs against Sri Lanka. Going by the expectations fans have from Shakib, he has not yet delivered much in both the matches. But he still remains a top pick across fantasy platforms. He brings with him plenty of experience with which he will look to bounce back stronger in the must-win game.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz – batter, Bangladesh

The opener scored a fine century in the match against Afghanistan. He finished his innings on 112 runs off 119 balls, hitting seven boundaries and three sixes in the process. He also picked up a wicket. Miraz brings with him the experience of having played 79 ODIs for Bangladesh.
