What is Sudoku?

Sudoku is a logic-based number-placement puzzle that doesn't require any special math skills or calculations to find the solution. This Japan-based game gets its name from Su-ji wa dokushin ni kagiru, meaning that the number must be single or that the numbers are limited to one occurrence. The key point here is that no row, column, or section should contain each digit more than once.

Features Of Sudoku Game

This Japan-based puzzle is played between two players through practice matches or cash battles. All you have to do is choose a two-player battle, pay the entry fee for a cash game, and start finding the solution for each blank. The objective of Sudoku is to fill the 9x9 sudoku grids with numbers such that the columns, rows, and 3x3 sections contain the numbers between 1 to 9. When the game starts, the 9x9 sudoku grids are pre-filled with some numbers. Depending on the difficulty level, the numbers may be filled in more grids for easier levels and lesser grids for a difficult level. To play Sudoku online, your goal is to use logic and find the solution to fill the blank boxes and complete the grid.

As a beginner, you can't finish the puzzle without committing a few errors. Some players prefer solving the puzzle using a pencil to write possible candidates in a blank before arriving at the unique solution for that cell. For example, if you find three digits that can be positioned in a particular blank, write those three digits with a pencil in that cell, and erase them when you get the correct answer.

To solve your puzzles smartly, you should use a Pencil technique. This way, you can enter temporary numbers in a square instead of entering an incorrect number and losing lives. If you feel a blank square has possibilities of more than one number, you can fill in the temporary numbers for reference.

These temporary numbers will not reduce your score or lives.When you are certain of the correct number for a particular blank cell, you can also erase these numbers by selecting the Erase button beside the Pencil. You can turn the Pencil mode on or off by tapping on the pencil.
