How to Play Fantasy Basketball on MPL
Match Selection & Registration:
As a first step, you need to select the match you want to play and then head over to create your own Fantasy Basketball team.
Player Selection:
Wisely choose the Point-Guards, Shooting Guards, Small Forwards, Power Forwards & Centres as you get a limited 100 credits to select these players. Then pick the Star Player for your fantasy basketball team & continue with the registration.
Entering a Contest:
Soon after you create & save your team, you can enter the contest of your choice. Each contest has its separate entry fee & prize money.
Team Selection Rules:
Every fantasy game has a set of defined rules for team selection. Each player carries credit points which get deducted from your available credit limit (100 credits) when you select them.
In Fantasy Basketball, the team you create must consist of 8 players. Below are team selection rules that must be followed while selecting team players:

Point System in Fantasy Basketball
In Fantasy Basketball, your score entirely relies on the real-time on-field performance of the players you have chosen. Which means, if your player does not perform well on the field, then you are likely to score fewer points than other participants whose players are performing better.
Your Team Points are Calculated Based on the Following Rules:

Other Important Rules
- The Star Player will receive 2 times the fantasy points for his performance.
- Any event during over-time will be considered for awarding fantasy points.
-A clean sheet is awarded for not conceding a goal whilst on the field & playing at least 55 minutes.
-In case of any transfer/trade of a real-life player in the intervening period between scheduled updates, such transfer shall not be reflected in the roster of players until the next scheduled update. Please note that while the transferred player will be available for selection in the transferor team’s roster of players in a contest during the intervening period, no points will be attributed to such transferred player in the course of such contest.
