Mumbai Indians managed to stun the SRH bowlers with their assault during the second phase of IPL 2021. Saurabh Tiwary stood strong in the middle order scoring 61 runs off 37 balls then with 4 fours and 3 sixes to his name. MI’s managed to post their fifth highest IPL total in IPL 2018 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Despite losing two wickets off the very first two balls of the match, MI were on top by the end of their innings. Evin Lewis and Rohit Sharma were the stars as they put on 108 runs for the third wicket partnership. Lewis hit 65 runs off 42 balls while Rohit Sharma was at his brutal best scoring 94 runs off 52 deliveries with 10 fours and five sixes. On the back of their stellar knocks, MI managed to post 213 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Mumbai Indians batters had plummetted the Royals bowlers back in IPL 2010 for their seventh highest score in IPL history. It was a collective batting effort from the top five of their line-up.
