IPL 2024: Five Delhi players to watch out for

Mitchell Marsh: The Australian all-rounder will play a crucial role with the bat for Delhi, having scored 474 runs in the past year at a strike rate of 158. He also provides valuable overs with the ball, taking 14 wickets at an economy rate below eight runs per over for the past one year.

Rishabh Pant: Making a remarkable comeback after a life-threatening car accident and rigorous rehabilitation, Pant will lead Delhi after a long hiatus. His performance in IPL 2024 could determine his late reckoning for a spot in the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup squad.

Axar Patel: An effective all-rounder, Patel’s quick-arm spin can turn the match in Delhi’s favor. With 11 wickets at an economy rate of 7.19 in IPL 2023, he remains a bowler to watch out for in IPL 2024.

Kuldeep Yadav: Known for his wrist-spin magic, Yadav picked up 10 wickets in IPL 2023 at an economy rate of 7.36 and a strike rate of 29.40. His ability to produce match-winning spells makes him a key player for Delhi.

David Warner: Despite retiring from Test and ODI cricket, Warner aims to extend his playing days and lead Delhi to success. With his blistering stroke play and previous seasons’ performances, Warner remains a formidable force in the batting lineup.
